Mine bolted right on too, also came from our classifieds xj vendor, all cleaned up and painted black....lol not too mention good service.

Anyway good job on doing it that way tho, seems to have worked out good.

Its been a little while since I did the upgrade, Im glad to post that everything is working just fine, steering is really good. I need to replace all my end joints, but that is another issue all together.

No problems with my upgrade!

My welds dont break.

That would totally NOT be the first time I've heard that one...

umm ok.. so i never heard of this...

but on my '78.... are there any direct bolt ins? or do i have to replace the box to get a bolt in.. or weld the ends??? if it is welding.. ill have to pass as i dont want to trust my welding...
