I got this out of the blue on Wednesday - I'm going with Makovai to look next Saturday - they had a BEAUTIFUL 1/2 ton 4x4 Suburban for sale several years ago - but they knew what it was worth... They probably won't have any screaming deals - but it should be interesting to see what they have...

Are you into 67 – 72 Chev stuff? My husband & I are liquidating all of our 67 – 72 vehicles and accumulated parts. This is not a fire sale. J

One of the suburban’s is for sale now and before we contacted an interested party and had him come look at all of the stuff, I thought I would see first if you were looking for a specific piece of trim, NOS parts, dashpad, motor, tranny, etc.

If you are a gentleman, you will let us know what you see......

There are a number of us looking for NOS and hard-to-find parts. You could go with a list from all of us and let us know what's there.

:usaflag:

Iwill be looking for new valve stem covers (j/k):haha:

I'm kinda excite bout going.

Also i live close to a guy here in oregoncity that has a warehouse full of 55 gallon barrels full of 67-72 parts from the over 100 rigs he strips for parts. I'm like a kid in a candy store when i go.

Let us know what you need.

Just in case your serious, here's my list:

spare tire carrier
OEM AM/FM radio (6-1/2" knob centers)
NOS front marker lens
ash tray for 73-79 center console
stock tire iron (lug wrench)
front bumper brackets (long size)
stock tachometer
NOS transfer case/shift knob (auto)

not sure exactly what you need but I have my whole old stock bumper assembly just sitting in the shop about to go to scrap. All brackets are there.

The front has two brackets about 10" long and bolt the bumper onto the frame. Many of the blazers seem to have these missing for some reason. If you have them, PM me a price and I can send via paypal pretty quick.

I'll look tomarrow and take pics of what is all there for ya. I was thinking there are brackets that go out at an angle

i forgot to take pics today, got in from hauling as was wet and covered in mud and the only thing on my mind was shower. Anways I hope to work on the ol k5 tomarrow night anyways.

So went and looked at his stuff today -

He has 2 4x4 Subs(one's a 1/2 ton '71, one's a 3/4 ton 72 - which is already sold) & a '71 4x4 3/4 ton Cheyenne super - with FACTORY spot lights -

He hasn't pulled any of his stuff out yet - he's cleaning out his shop right now - he is going to let me know when he's more ready. - I think his wife jumped the gun a little bit inviting me.

I told him I was interested in the pickup - but he hasn't figured out a price yet. He knows he has (2) NOS inner & (2) NOS outer grilles for a '72. I'll keep y'all posted.

Is he parting anything with a 71 outer grill? I think the subs have the same outer grill as the blazer. I'd be willing to drive up to Oregon for a decent one of those, even if it's used.

Edit: I got too excited and forgot the 72 is probably the same grill right?

no - but the nos grilles should work - i'm taking one of the sets - and there is another guy in front of you that said he may or may not want a grille - but I will definitely keep you posted (the whole board as well).

The guy needs to set prices on all his stuff still too - he's kind of out of it as far as what this stuff is worth - but he won't be giving it away by any means
