First numbers are the dwell degrees. Then onviously the points gap if you're doing it by gap rather than dwell angle. Then there's the spark advance 'before top dead centre'. Then the idle settings for manual or auto trans as I've no idea what truck you have. Same goes for listing light duty and heavy duty. Your profile says it's a BBC in an '81 so you should have HEI....so you don't need any of the above info!

another question here, first.. where can i get that information? any website? as i would like to look at other settings for different cars.. also, i need to know where is the Tach connection on the distributer..
I got that from a Chiltern manual. But if you do a google you'll find anything. Just type in model+ spec or tune up info. Things like that usually get good results. You can often just type in a VIN number and get good results.
