Okay, just to make sure I'm thinking right. I have the below trans mount and when reinstalling it noticed it was wobbling around. Isn't the metal part (the top in the picture where the bolts are) supposed to be solidly molded into the poly? I can take a screwdriver and pry the metal part along the ends out about 1/4" away from the poly.

That's what I thought but needed a sanity check. At first I thought the bolts were just loose. Kind of disappointed in it since there are not many miles on the mount.

If you've got rubber engine mounts and a poly tranny/tcase mount thats your issue. if so be glad the mount broke rather than the bell cracking.

It has poly engine mounts also. I had noticed that periodically during heavy throttle shifts the transfer case was hitting the body. When I pulled the tranny for a rebuild I found a lot of loose bolts, bellhousing, adaptor, transfer case to adaptor, etc... and thought that was the problem.

Any other brand of poly trans mounts that are recommended? Hesitant to go back to Energy Suspension brand based on how this one did.

I just installed Energy suspension Trans and motor mounts a couple months ago, havent had any issues, no movement and ive done light trail riding since.

Just have the lil added vibration from the polys but no banging around, etc.

Like mentioned, there should be no movement.
