I use Carquest filters yes they are Wix. I use Wallyworld full synethitc oil. No problems with it. Cant beat the price.

I assume wallyworld rebadges someone else's oil.... who makes it? I've walked through the oil section at WW and see Mobil 1 full synth there all the time... what should I be lookin for?

amsoil is an investment in and of itself. Serious $$$$$$. Not much question its the best though...

The only way I have seen the Wally World syn oil it is in 1 gal silver plastic jugs. Labeled Super Tech Full Synethetic. I'v been using it for about 3 years now. Started off using it in my daughters Turbo Jetta. I use it in my othr 4 cars now. My k5 really likes it. IIRC its 12.89 a gal. Dont know who makes it. Use to know a guy who managed the automotive dpt in WM. he told me their Dino oil came from Quaker State.
