I have a question about removing some stuff from my engine. I have an 81 k10 sub with a 350. I have the body off right now so my ac is disconected and so is some of the emission control stuff. My question is I am more than likely going to put a new engine in. The crate engine wiil not have ac or all the emission control stuff so I am going to remove it all, is there anything I shouldn't mess with? I do not need to worry about passing any emission control tests. Also what is the fuel vapor line for, if it is for emission control can I lose it? Basicaly I would like to pull every wire and tube out and start over, but I am clueless when it comes to the engine and the stuff around it. I know I need fuel to engine, fuel from engine to tank, the vacum line from the engine to the brake booster, but what else? I am going to get rid of all the wiring and rewire everything to switches on the dash with only a couple new gauges. So as you can tell from this thread I am new to this and could use any help ya got, THANKS
