Hey all. The engine oil cooler hoses are leaking well just the bottom one however the top on looks a bit old so to be safe its going too:D the hard lines look good so just the hoses need to be replaced. I got some from napa but they were not the right ones. The hose length was way off and the bends on the tubes were different. I forget the part numbers but thats all they showed.

So any thoughts? I Dont need the hard lines that go across the radiator. Just the hose and fittings that attach at the filter .

Also I read something about upgrading the hoses but it didnt say what to upgrade to.

It a 84 diesel, thanks in advance

Around here (northern Utah) there is a place called EVCO House of Hose. I use them all the time when I get leaks on hoses that have hard line. Usually it's only the hose that goes bad. The hard line and connector are fine. They just cut and crimp a new ferrule on and with the new section of hose. It's usually cheaper then an entire replacement. I'd look into something like that.
