ok after finding out my block is junk (see thread in the lounge) ive been doing some internet searching and so far what ive seen and read is that i can take my crank, rods, and pistons out of the 327 block and put them in a 350 block with no problems...both are large journal blocks

is this possible? if so then im in good shape as my buddy has a stock bore 350 4 bolt block that i can have(just have to get it machined)

Yes, as long as you're sure the 327 is a large journal then you can swap all the internals to a 350 block.

i have a 68 swb c-10 w/327....factory motor....turned out to be 67 sj...apparantly gm used the sj motors until they were gone, then went to lg journal, so definitly check it cause some 68's had sj motors
