Engine stoped running

my 88 full size blazer just stoped running while driving on the freeway. It turns over but wont start. the rotor points at the number 1 on the distibutor cap and the timing marks line up on the damper. Any ideas?

well i would start with spark and fuel.. if you have spark then check fuel supply. i have had that happen twice, first was fuel pump. other was ignition.

Thanks, It turnned out to be the ignition moudule. Replaced it with a new one and started right up. Thanks again. Ed
