i picked up a 83 k5 blazer with a factory 6.2. im switching it to a sm465 and im about ready to try to crank the motor. on the front of the motor on the passenger side theres some sort of big round crank case breather to the left of the oil fill cap and above the alternator with steel lines running to the intake. mine is missing a couple things there that got robbed to fix the previous owners truck. what is this thing and does anyone have a diagram or picture of it so i can get this thing fixed and ready to crank

im tryign to get a truck running and be serious dude if you wanna joke go find a clown. i need my truck fixed by the 19th and you being retarded isnt helping

Grow some thicker skin. Better yet, cry about it. If you can't take a simple, non-malicious little joke then you are on the wrong website.

I always thought the gassers were the ones that missed -- no spark plugs to be missing on a dizzle. Well, I mean, it's missing the spark plugs, so the spark plugs can't be missing :haha:

Anyway, you might post up a pic or two ... my experience with the 6.2 is limited to the weird dual-alternator military version, so I can't place what you're talking about. Except maybe the injector pump, which is sort of important =))

I can't think of anything that would run steel lines to the intake proper, though, so pix would be muy helpful.

And yeah, relax a bit -- we have fun here on CK5 and help people too.

(One hint: never EVER post up saying "Name this part", as someone, likely me, will invariably reply with "Bob. No, Fred. Steve?" ad nauseam. )

You're missing parts of your CDR...it's the diesel version of a PCV system. Snap a pic or two and I'll tell you what's missing. i have a "C" code in a pick-up here, and a complete J code in the garage.
