Eqaul tire balance stuff and sun desert offroad

I was reading my new mag that you get from 4wpw(off road adventures?) I saw first somebody from sun desert off road nice truck I've seen it around here. And secondly it talked about eqaul the new tire balancer stuff.....has anybody used this stuff? and is it easy? and does it really get more mileage out of the tires as they claim>?

Equal isnt new.
I was trying it prior to 1995.
it doesnt make swampers round.
it does have some effect on balance.

it works great on my 40's. some people believe hitting a pothole can throw your tire out of balance for a second or two. but hitting a pothole with weights can also cause the weights to fall off!
