Got a check engine code PO442, says a small leak exists in the evaporative emission control system...anyone had this problem, ideas whereto start looking? Truck is an 01 silverado with the 4.3

Check your gas cap. You may not have gotten it back on tight at your last fuel stop.

could also be evap purge solenoid, i replace a lot of those at work. takes less than 5 min to do.

Check your vaccum lines also.
