Ok I have some pics up of the cage, at least what I have done so far. PLEASE!!!!! remember that I am new to welding and bending and that I am doing this myself. OK, ummm, lets see if I can answer the Q's......
a)I am using a harbor freight tubing bender, its orange!!!!
b) No, I wont be in Clayton for memorial day, my wife and I decided that we are going to wait till JULY for our next trip. We will be heading up to POTEAU OK, the weeken of the 4th-July weekend.
c) YES, MAD MAX is what I am going for 100%.
d)wow, I dont know how much weight, I suppose some!!!!!!!
Thanx for the encouragement, I got some more work done tonight and will be hitting it again tomorrow evening or thursday night!!!! I will let yal know when there are more pics up!!!

Looks good Nash. Some of the "exo-cages" I've seen before hung out too far on the sides and stuff. I like how yours is close to the body and not at all 90 degree angles.

the bender they have is a bottle jack with a frame around it with various size, whata ya callum, well the duhicky half moon shaped template thingamabobbers. It is on sale right now for 80 some bucks and looks like this....

Thats the dillybopper thingy that I have been using. It takes a little getting used to. I found that by keeping the rollers as far out as possible gives some pretty good bends. Like I said, it isnt what would come out of a race car shop, but it doesnt cost that either!!!!!

Cool beans Bro!! I was gonna pay 60 bucks to have a local dude bend a halo to make my 6pt cage an 8pt but i think I'll just get the bender and do it myself. Then I'll have it and in the future I can bend all I need.....

How did you figure out the bending measurements? did you use some kinda tempalte like small copper tubing and hand bend the shape first?? Or just eyeballed it?
