what kind of driveshaft are you running up front? thats a lot of flex there!

I picked it up on a local board. I didn't realize it when I got it, but the guy sold be a junk shaft. The slip yoke portion had a hunk taken out of the ears so big it wouldn't hold the joint caps. Interestingly enough, my local driveshaft shop had the piece instock. He said there's no application, it's just made for rock crawlers.
It's got 9" of slip travel. Both ends are 1310s. I'm running it without a CV. The angle seems pretty good with a half-clocked tcase and front axle moved 2.5" forward. It would need shortened to run a CV, otherwise I probably would have the CV in there. Seems okay so far, but it's not like I've got a lot of miles on it.
We were looking at the difference between full droop and full compression, and I'd say the slip on the shaft moved a total of about 4".

I drive the truck to and from the trails mostly. I love driving it, so every now and then I drive it to work or just take it for a cruise.

Right now I have a total of 12" suspension travel in the front, 5" compress and 7" droop. The springs are reverse arching a little more than I'd like so I need to get bump stops in to limit some of the up travel.
With the 52/56 setup, I can go further up the ramp in reverse. Here are some pics:

Don't know yet if I'll have axle wrap problems, but I don't have the best gearing right now so don't know if it'll be a problem yet. It's one of the things I want to keep an eye on.

Depends on if you count the leave with the spring retainer things. There are 5 in addition to that one. I ended up only removing 1 leaf from the original '87 burb spring pack. I had 4 to begin with, but I like 5 better because the springs retain some arch at ride height.
I had a question PM'd me about this thread so I thought I would bump it up with an update.
I don't think I ever posted pics of the front hanger for the rear springs. Because I'm running the 1ton spring perch width I needed new front hangers. Kert @ DIY4x hooked me up with a very nice set:
After some driving and wheeling I wasn't happy with the rear setup. The overall height was about 1" taller than the front. I could have lived with that, but I was also getting some u-joint growl due to incorrect pinion angle. Plus I didn't like how low the shackle hung, about 3" below the gas tank skid. So I swapped out the 4" DIY4x flip brackets in favor of some ORD 2.5" flip brakets along with DIY4x UDSR 6" shackles. It's much better. Truck sits dead level and the u-joints are nice and quiet so I'm much happier.
I've left the rear axle moved back 4" and I'm quite happy with that.
For those that haven't seen, I also installed some Doetsch Tech monotube shocks with custom mounting. You can see the article here: http://coloradok5.com/custom-doetsch-tech-shock-install.shtml
I'm so glad I spent the money and time on those shocks given that I still drive the General every where it goes. I ran I-70 400mi thought the CO Rockies to Moab and back. It corners better than it has since I first put lift springs in 7yrs ago, maybe better than it ever did. I can run 70mph with no concern. Hard braking is not an issue, because the front end doesn't dive down any more than normal. And it's fun to bomb down the access roads to and from the trails.

Weird, that's not the first time I've heard that. 
It's a 350 standard rebuild with mild cam, 350hp on paper. Thorley tri-y headers, dual 2.5" exhaust exiting in front of the rear tires. Full Boar mufflers I think, got them from a guy here in CO.
