he has the pop off drum 14ff rear. he wants to convert to the disc rear but needs info on if the hubs will swap over from the old style rears with out problems. this is the best i can figure out and i would like to know also.

Here is a picture of mine, it's a 1977 model 14 bolt. The rotor fits on the backside of the hub after the drum is removed. Maybe something changed for the 1994 models? I haven't messed with any newer 14 bolts to know.

Press out your studs and seperate your drum from your hub. Use a 3/4 ton rotor, place it exactly where your drum was and press the studs back into place. Voila, no new hub is necessary for the conversion.

He has a '94 though, which is a newer body style than what most of us have. The newer 14 bolts have a removable drum and the back of the hub is not machined like the old ones are. A rotor won't fit the back of the newer style hubs.
