Im looking at a set of Extend a fender flares by Bushwacker for my blazer and I was wondering how these mount. because I have trimmed the edge of the fender off so theres not that little lip on the bottom of the fender and all the flares that Ive seen mount from the bottom do they or could they mount from the back Im not afraid of a couple little holes in the fender

the only flares from Bushwacker that use screws through the fender are the cut out style. all the others have screws into the fender lip.

Alright thats a problem but I might have a solution. Could I make my own fender lips. What I was thinking was taking some sheet steel and bending it and pop riveting it to the inside of the fender and then the flares would cover to pop rivets or sheetmetal screws and then I would have a lip to bolt them to. Opinions or does anyone have a set of cutouts for sale??

I was thinking about making my own wheel flares out of sheet metal because of how much i have extended my wheel base (8.5 inches)

I didnt purposly extend mine rust did and then I trimmed them up b/c the edges were bad so I cleaned them up. I would like to make my own but I just dont know how I would go about doing it. But I do need somthing
