-banjo fitting is block style that can fit in several different positions - which is prefered?

i originally put the fitting pointing straight up to allow the greatest travel without kinking, but now i have it pointing straight back with the angled side facing away from the caliper to allow better clearance on steering parts and tires. the fitting is right between the little nubs that kept the stock banjo centered.

for those with the same or similar lines, what have you found is the best way to run them for combined street/offroad use (i have to drive a long way to get to good wheeling).

sorry, i don't have pics right now. i'm at work.

the stupid stock rear lines were so seized on i just cut them off, installed new fittings and flared the lines myself juuuust enough lenfth to do it.

I aimed mine straight up and used a spring from the hardware store to keep them up and out of the way. They have a tendancy to want to rub on the tires and it wont take long for that to wear a spot thru the steel.
My rear was seized as well. So I did the same as you and cut it off and rebuilt it.

FWIW my Rough Country brake lines would only go on angled towards the truck.
I got lucky all 3 of my 31 yr old lines came right off..
