Extended bump stops

I just fabbed up new brackets. Most I've seen use a piece of 2" square tube as a spacer or get the big 4.5" tall competition mounts. Like these:

With a 6" lift you may need to use a combination of both methods.

my dad's friend did that, he said it came with his lift kit..that was for an 200x f250 diesel..it was jsut the stock ones unbolted, then a large spacer that bolts to the frame and the bumpstop..rather simple.

I tried that and bent them badly the first trip out.

I made my own bumpstop mount and used 4.5" progressive bumpstops like mrk5 posted.

I can get them but I doubt that they'll be much use to you (my suspension is about stock height).

If I had to make bumpstops for something with some lift it would look like this:
