EVERY gm package has a RPO and the motor has a RPO. What are they for your truck? If there is no RPO for the ssc it is just a dealer package. I worked for gm and saw plenty of "special" vehicles that were nothing more than a dealer package. FYI there is only one 5.3 liter, same bore, same stroke 96.01 mm bore and 92.00 mm as EVERY other 5.3 Liter.(5.328 L; 325.1 cu in).

I think the fact that nobody has ever seen one or heard of one is the reason red flags are being raised. Why wouldnt the ssc logo be in the same stick on letters as the badge? Isnt that how the SS models are badged?

Also there is only one option for the 5.3 as said above. Gm wouldnt make a different motor just for this truck. Someone could have thrown some goodies on it, but that doesnt make it a different engine. The LS motors are completely different than the old small blocks. The only different would be the 6.0 that has a ~5 mm bigger bore and same stroke.

Its an actual limited production model... There are maybe a few hundred total in the country..

it came with the decals, 2" drop, 20" rims, stainless dual exhaust, K&N intake (factory changed ducting), electric cooling fans, automatic airbags, bug-flectors, and window guards, interior chrome accents, rear drum brakes, in tank fuel filter/ pump combo, 3.42 gears..

it was made 1 year (in 2005) the same year the SS was not made

My '06 has electric fans and drum brakes, 3.42 gears, in tank fuel filter / pump combo.
