God, I thought I'd seen it all when 4WPW started advertising "Street Legal Beadlock-Look" rims with all the great tough looks of a beadlock *and* DOT approved. :shame::eek::(

Those are just ... wrong. Capital R, O, N, G, E, wrong.

They are too expensive and I don't need them

If you're worried about $$$ why do you want to buy hub caps?

They look cool :wink1:

We don't have rocks or anything in florida so no need to air down

And also I found them for 40$ not 100

The only thing fake that's any good are fake breasts, at least their good for something.:D

Have you ever heard the saying "function over form"?

If you do much mudding, you should be airing down a little as well. Wider footprint = less stuck time.

Those belong on on a generic mall crawler that never sees dirt. If that in what you are doing go to town. Like most people with 4wheelers they put a bunch O bling on it and never ever see the dirt and the only water crossings they hit are in the gutter driving into their driveway:haha: on that note, GO FOR IT. at least others can get a good laugh.

I bet no one will ever know the difference

Also I have done some mall crawling, after a hurricane the parking load was floaded with water up to 4 feet deep

It's not like im being a complete poser. I don't have 33's and a stock blazer

I have a 78 stepside with cut fenders and 39'' tsl's and soon to the 3/4 ton axles

They are mostly to hold me off untill I can get some real bead locks

Street Locks

I got some (non real bead locks ) Called Street locks a while back, as they are NOT real bead locks they are not for hard core climbing , BUT the bead lip is extra thick and does protect the bead from damage, from moderate rocks and stumps. I didnt know how well they would work until i got into a accident. A S10 hit my Montero ( i also have 2 K5s ) at about 30 mph hit the left rear Q Panel dead on and spun me around. The Wheel took 90% of the impact. Small dent on the body but the rim was bent a good 15 degrees... but the bead DIDNT break , no air loss, and it got me the 2 or 3 blocks to the tire shop so they could help me change it. No they are not real bead locks, and if i was doing hard core comp crawling id use real bead locks, but for a DD that does some trail hopping and stump jumping the ones i have are better than stock rims but if course not as good as real bead locks. A nice middle road.
