can u run a clutch fan and an electric fan at the same time of will they interfere with eachother cooling wise

it can be done, the 90ish crown vics came that way from the factory, electric fan came on with a/c.
In theory, there is no issue. On our trucks, there isn't really space with the stock fan.
But, you could put a fan in front of the radiator........but it would have to be pretty thin.
Most BMW's are setup this way. Although they overheat FAST if the electric one fails.

It's typically less efficient to do this than to run solely one or the other.
Clutch fans on the trucks pull massive amounts of air, if you are having problems it's not because the stock fan is undersized.

i would have to get a pusher fan or an real thin puller fan? cause my truck has plenty of room between the fan and radeator

if you are seriously having cooling issues, in Rhode Island??? there other problems with the cooling system, either a weak clutch, or a plugged radiator.
I live out here in Phoenix Arizona, next door to hell,,,mine would heat up with the stock 3 core radiator, bumped the fan clutch up to a heavy duty unit and it helped, but ultimately it ended up being an old radiator problem.
Bought a new radiator and up'd that one to a 4 core, along with that heavy duty fan clutch, it never really gets much over the t-stat now.
BTW, you MUST have a fan shroud for adequate cooling.
My dually has a 4 row radiator, also with a heavy duty clutch, it doesn't have a shroud on it and on these 100+degree temp days, it hits 220-230 EASY until i get rollin again. That's just usually sittin at stop lights.

i dont have an overheating issue i just have the electric fan laying around but if its going to hamper cooling peformance than to hell with it

will my cooling be ok if i just have the top of the shroud for the fan cause the the guy i bought the truck from busted the bottom of the shroud so he took it off

not gonna do ya much good without the bottom half, still not able to pull the correct amount of air through the radiator like a full shroud does.
again though, where you're located, it may not be that big of an issue, out here, it absoutely doesn't work, been there/done that
with our summertime heat, every bit of air that can be brought through the radiator, needs to be.

idk like u said it might not over heat but my buddy has a monte without a shroud and it overheeats no matter what time of the year but then we put a shroud on it and now no problem.

I have an electric fan ziptied to my grill on my jeep. At low rock crawling speeds my engine fan wont pull enough air. My water temp drops 10-20 degrees at idle.
