I have no opinion on how well those heads handle overheating. Aluminium should definitely be checked for flatness

No major damage, heads where strait and it is back together and in the Blazer.
I just have to finish dizzy wires radiator and exhaust

it is back in the Blazer but I have got the timing way off and have to re-stab distributor

I started it set the timing and drove it for the first time in over a month.
and the starter quit right after test driving it.........if its not one thing its another....
