Here is my schedule for the next few weeks. It is starting to look like getting to Corral during Ira's leave might be hard to coordinate
18-19 MAY
-fixing my stupid truck so it will pass smog
-trying to finish up the paperwork of getting the Avalanche fixed (got rearended)
20-21 MAY
-family weekend at a resort in Carlsbad
22-23 MAY
-Testing out of the Transmitter area of my school, kinda ned to be there for that
24 MAY
-Start Search area of school, I might be able to bail out on it if I could be sure we were going this day.
25-26 MAY
-Nothing
27-29 MAY
-Not sure, but I would imagine that the wife would like to spend a little time with me. I might be able to get a wheeling day out of it though.

Anybody else have any inputs on dates?

Any of you guys interested in going down to the Baja 500 Saturday June 3rd? We are racing Class 8 in the Chevy. There are a couple of bad hill climbs in the Pine Forest that I wouldn't mind having a little help there standing by with 4X4. It woud be a great place to spectate, camp and have a blast. If you have never been to a big Baja race you will be blown away and will want to do it again.

Nope I was still on "travel". I checked in today somewhat so I could get plane tickets to PH and a rental car on the governments dime . I will be on leave from 26May to about 10Jun .

Just let me know what the plan is for hittin some rock and I will try my best to get there. My new tabs just came in today so I am gonna take her for a drive since she has been on lock down for a month and a half.

I got my Cat in the mail today. time to install it after I fit the truck in the garage again. I might rebuild the PS pump while I am at it. What site did you find the procedure for the pump mods on Ira?

I did all of the mods including notching the fitting.

I might be having a problem with one of my HB lines but it could be a bad hose it appears that the crimp is letting the hose push out but it could be my imagination .

Haha yeah forgot about that. The 2" shank is solid, and I bent it as well as the bottom of the frame on the Dodge and tore the side plates on the hitch.

Yo, Don, here's how to get to the mud caves. From the north take S2 to Vallecito Creek. From the south (l-8) take S2 from Ocotillo to Canyon sin Nombre wich drops into Vallecito. Take that up to Arroyo Tapiado, go up a ways til it turns into a canyon, go up several curves til you see the big slide on the right and the biggest cave I've found so far is on the left. Bring plenty of light. You can search and all kinds of cool stuff on that map link I sent you. The trails and names only show up if you're zoomed in close enough.

Should (hoping, saving) be getting a 6.5 Turbo, 4L80, NP241, some more CC/Burb parts, and some locked one tons (hi pin F*RD front) shortly to complete my scheme, all of which I will be indebted to some great CK5ers for hooking me up. Who wants to come down and wrench with me this summer? It'll be nice n' warm!

39" IROKS or 39" MICHELINS? Michelins street better (no weight to balance - mil spec), and I want decent mileage. But Iroks are....IROKs May end up dualed with the Miches....
