Crap David, Im glad everyone is ok. In my family bad things usually happen in 3's so hopefully your's will be the same.

take care

Dan

Didn't take any pics last night, too busy making sure everyone was OK. I'll take some when we go to gt it out. Wish my brother's CUCV or my dually was running...

Yeah I figured. I am still trying to figure how you endoed was it a wheelbase thing? The wife had to work so I have my daughter and my 4 month old son. If I only had my daughter we would be on our way out there right now as my winch would prolly help a good deal. I will be down for 2 weeks starting Thursday due to surgery. Who all was in the ride when it went over? Are you still gonna make TDS?

Ira

I never have liked blazers cuz of the wheelbase, I think that and me taking off 450 lbs of top doors and tailgate made the rear too light so it came up and over as I came over the top of the dune.

I'll come to TDS, just don't know if I'll have a rig.

Might stretch and buggy the K5 or put the K5 drivetrain in my old J**P and do the same or build the crewcab. I like the sand (not quite as much has I used to before this weekend) so I wanna go light, so maybe the J**P. There was a stretched linked supercharged 1 ton TJ on 44" Boggers out there that did pretty good. Whatever I do will be very caged.

Yah. The springs I had in the back were 52", but they seemed to have a lot of droop. That big J**P I saw out there had little trailer winches mounted to the bottom of the frame above the axles with cables hooked to the axles and switches for them in the cab so he could suck the front or rear down at will. Air shock suspension.

Went "wheeling"

Decided to see if the old girl still worked OK after me dumping her on her head today. Topped off some fluids, drilled some holes in the roof, put and eyebolt thru, hooked the crane on, and yanked the roof back up into place...kinda. Going down the highway against the wind with no windshield is not recommended, BTW :D Had fun with my cousin who's in town for grandma's funeral showing him what wheeling is like, even though I was pretty tame, still a little spooked and no cage yet. Gonna strip it out to the minimum, stretch the wheelbase, and cage it.

Good choice on keeping it.
