I'm new to this forum and have a question that im sure someone will have the answer to.
I have a 1974 Chevy 2 wheel drive blazer that I have owned for more than 30 years.
It didn't have badges on the fenders when I purchased it could you tell me what the badges should be .
Knowing that the k would specify 4 wheel drive would this be a C5?
If so do C5 badges exist or did they not have fender badges?

Welcome!

All Blazers are K5's regardless of 2wd or 4wd. I'm not sure about the early fender emblems, trucks would have the trim level. Someone will chime in with the correct answer.

The few 2wd Blazers that I had seen were just blazer without the k5.
I assumed the k5 was added on the 4wd.

The GM Model number codes for Blazers were - CC10516 for 2WD & CK10516 for 4WD models.
They were both considered “10” series vehicles as the “5” was just a sales/advertisement marketing name given to separate the models and boost identification.

This may help in searching/googling by using GM’s lingo and model identification.

Every 2wd 73-74 I've ever seen had the same emblem as the 4wd. Now that you're a member, I encourage you to go to sales brochure section on this forum and you can look at the original brochures from those two years. You will not find a different emblem other than the K5 or Jimmy emblem regardless of drivetrain. I have posted a picture for you below. Now, all that being said you could totally get somebody to make you one. There's a place called razor customs that could probably do it. It'd be a neat one-off if you wanted to go that route and use the C instead of the K, but no one really calls them C5s so I don't know. Just something to think about I guess.
