Transfered to Pascagoula for 18 months or so.

Damn, my dads submarine was in drydock at Ingalls Shipbuilding during the summer of '75. Hot, hot, hot and humid!! His last duty station was the 7th Fleet in San Diego, where I grew up.

Wait until you learn about 'Singing River' river!

Are you talking about the history of it? The one with the native Americans walking to their death into the river and now you can hear their souls sing at night? Yeah that's a little creepy... lol. Welcome to Mississippi, we got ghosts.

Oh yeah and where are the pics?

Here are a few pics I just took.

It is dark and I am not a professional with a lens. So bite it.
Better pics later.

I am going to save a little cash so I can get afew other things at the same time. Then Kert will ship it all to me in Mississippi.

Rear 56's with new UDSR shackles
Front 52's
B-52's
Guardsman
1350 front shaft
Hydro assist

I wanted to get the 42's this time but I would have been pissed if I could not wheel it right away.

Next time for sure. I will have the truck better equipped for it then too.

And just in case you are wondering.....

I can not lift a 39.5" Irok on an H1 rim into the bed of my truck without a few beers in me first. The damn whels need holes in them like on a regular rim.
Then it hurts afterwords. I might even roll one on a scale to see what it wieghs.

im tryin to guage how much trimming im going to need on my next truck with a flexy 6" susp lift and 1" body lift to fit 42 iroks. im hoping there is some way to keep the inner fenders, but i have a feeling i wont be able to.

Mud..........Wellllllll hellllllll that's about all we got. Anyway, have a safe trip and I hope you enjoy it. I have come to like it here, but we did move here in '89.:D PM if you need anything although I am about 2.5 to 3 hrs. north of you.

i really dig it. i love the angle you cut on the front of the front wheel well. looks like you got plenty of room for flex, which is killer. :)

i'm sure you said this else where, but how many inches of lift?

fwiw, a trick i use for lifting heavy tires into a truck is to get it bouncing, and just bounce higher and higher till you can get it onto the edge of the bed and roll it in. ;)

The lift in the truck is all crapped up. My best guess is:
5" front and rear on the drivers side
6" front and rear on the pass side

When I bought the truck at was pretty even but then I beat the piss out of it a few times and the springs warped real bad. The rears are shaped like a "W".
Not sure what is up with the front though.

cool. when i access a 60, i want to do an add-a-leaf and 40's. so, i'll probably follow your cut pattern.

I can take measurements anytime you need.

It was a little un-nerving at fist since I had never seen anyone cut a truck like this.....Other that Andy's but his is a little older and way cooler looking IMHO

i hear iroks wear out as fast as comp krawlers on the street on a heavy fullsize rig

keep the PSI up on the streets thats for sure, i would have gone tsls and am going tsls..

irosk are not a throttle tire

Do you think TSL's are a long lasting tire? :haha: :haha: :haha:

Pretty much anything interco makes wears out while your watching it. I have 20,000 km on my 39.5's and they're close to done...maybe 30% left.

Sounds like someone needs to go on a diet

2" spacers on all 4 corners.
Right now I am running 21 PSI and If i get to 20Kmi out of these tires I will be pretty happy
