Fresh Rebuilt SM465/NP203/NP205 Doubler clocked 2" up. Motor raised 1/2" up. Doubler cross member is still in the works. Hydro Assist. 32 Gallon Fuel cell. Fresh rebuilt 14 bolt, 4.88 gears, detroit, disk brakes, welded axle tubs to center section. Need to start Antiwrap bar once doubler cross member is done. Also have to redo my seat bars as the np203 range box now touches it.

And a NICE FLAT BELLY

Very nice. How much is the trans/doubler raised?

Wow. Very nice. I know what I need to do now. I like the way the trans and t-cases are above the bottom of the frame rails. Very well protected. Sweet!

I have no clue. Just raised it until it cleared the frame. Don't think it can be more than an 1"

Just for the sake of saying it, I'd bet it's closer to 3" ~ 4" (maybe more). Here's mine (also a 4spd set up) -

Btw, very nice flat belly! I hope to eventually do a belly pan on mine but it probably wont be flat like yours.

badarse....

hey Chris... quick question.... how high does Jesse's brake setup sit? is it about level with the top of the case?

I've got mine up high enough where I think I can just run a flat plate skid plate right on the bottom of the frame.. thats the goal... but I haven't gotten Jesse's kit yet and don't wanna screw myself on my tunnel fab.....

ryoken....by the time you finish that truck, we're going to have personal air crafts...lol....

i cant' say anything...at least you work on your rig fairly often & nice build by the way,...i work on my junk sporadically....very sporadically...lol...and its not lack off parts....its bad .....aaaaaa......scheduling...yea thats it....lazy..i mean scheduling conflicts.....lol

fairly often? I'd bet the farm I put more labor hrs in my truck a week than ANYONE on this forum....

hijack off.... thanks Chris, didn't realize that it sat that high.. I should probably order mine...

Where'd ya get the wheel tubs? Do they actually add room for rear tires or just replace rusty stockers? Looking good!

Thats cause you add to the jungle gym every day!!!! :haha:

Thats a badass setup you got there. I just got my new 465/208 installed and clocked up today. I was surprised to find that clocking it up one position offers no conflict in shifter linkage and was quite happy.

Btw I dont know how much of a concern water crossings are to you but I found a nice little trick. Goto auto zone and get a rack and pinion repair boot. It fits from the top neck of the top plate where the shifter comes in and shrinks down to fit the shifter perfect. Add hose clamps and Wahlah completely submersable sm465 :D
