Btw I dont know how much of a concern water crossings are to you but I found a nice little trick. Goto auto zone and get a rack and pinion repair boot. It fits from the top neck of the top plate where the shifter comes in and shrinks down to fit the shifter perfect. Add hose clamps and Wahlah completely submersable sm465 :D


Sweet. I will have to go get one. I have had water up to the bottom of my steering on occasion. :doah:
 
Where'd ya get the wheel tubs? Do they actually add room for rear tires or just replace rusty stockers? Looking good!

Had a friend's shop cut them out, And roll the main part so it had a natural curve and installed. They are about 4" wider than the stock ones. With the stock ones I used to bottom out the tire in them when flexed. I have never touched then since. Probably gained a good 2" more suspension travel.
