I know I’m going to regret this, but I’ve got to make some room in my garage. I’m selling all three together, essentially making your K5 into a pickup in appearance. No serious damage, the toolbox could use a fresh coat of spray paint to look ideal. You’re going to want to paint the fiberglass to match your truck, so the slight fading of the paint from the sun doesn’t matter. The window is pristine with the exception of the CB antenna, which you can remove if you’d like. The cover is also in excellent condtion, it’s been in my garage for a couple of years, so it’s a bit dusty. I’ll send closer photos of anything you request. Figured I’d put it up here first, since it’s more likely to go to a good home. Getting it to you is going to be the issue. I’m in Long Beach, CA. I make frequent trips to the Prescott, AZ area. We can work something out if you’re in between there. If not, I will work with you in whatever way you would like to get it to you. Possibly someone going go Blazer Bash can pick it up and take it there. I will also be in Lake Havasu the next two weekends, I can bring it that far if you’re interested. The cover was over 1000 new, the toolbox was 700, and I have no idea what the fiberglass is worth, I just know they are really, really hard to find. Based on that, I’m going to throw out 1500 for the three and see if anyone is interested. If I’m way off, please tell me….side view.JPGIMG_0485.JPG

figure out a way to get it from here to there, and it's all you! It does help with the A/C that's for sure. Lot easier to cool just the front part of the truck. If it goes outside of here, I'll probably ask a bit more, it makes me feel better knowing someone will use it rather than it sitting in the garage until I break the window or dent the toolbox.

I was thinking this weekend that I was hoping something cool would pop up forsale soon, to remind me of the good ole days when the classified section was awesome. So thank you for this ad!

Never thought i’d ever find this, so stopped looking. You will certainly regret letting this go.

I bought the truck from @olanchamedic, and it was there when I bought it. This is my camping truck, so I needed the back to be secure, and a way to stay dry and warm, so it got the topper. I thought I would put the 1/2 cab on again in the summer, but I've come to realize it's just too much work to swap back and forth just to look cool. So, at this point, it's just waiting for something to fall on it or otherwise render it useless, so it's going to someone who will use it. I thought about using it to make a mold and making a bunch to sell, then I realized how that would end. I searched around trying to come up with a price, and have seen a couple for sale here over the years, and one or two elsewhere, but it seems they are pretty rare.

Wish I was closer, Had a fiberglass half cab once. The weight savings is noticeable. Instead, I had to graft a pickup cab on to achieve the same outcome. GLWS,blazer1.JPG

Very rare and hard to find. Your price is very reasonable. I would have asked more...
Good to see you're still around! Truck is still going strong, minor issues here and there, but I have yet to get into anything I can't get out of. The details of your work are appreciated, very happy with my purchase with the exception of the gas mileage, and we all knew what that was going in. Someday you'll have to answer the question of how I have a 110" wheelbase and the tires are still in the fenders. No one has figured that one out yet....

I'd ask for more, but there is that whole shipping thing...if it's not someone local, it's going to be hard to get it to them.

You can easily move the rear 2" and the front 2" and still be in the wheel opening. That's your 110".
From the pictures I think that's what he did

So the front was moved forward a couple inches and the back was moved back a couple inches. Fender wells were opened up a little bit as well. Pretty much what imiceman said.

Very well done, we kept looking for a cut and splice in the frame. The fender wells were done so well no one even thought they had been opened up...And hopefully I assumed correctly that those are stock chevy rear springs from an 88-14 GM truck...I just bought some, they appear to be the same. I'm just finishing up getting the shocks under the bed...it has taken me this long, but I mangaged to keep about 15" travel. I'll post up some photos next week when it's all up and running.

You coming to the Run to the Sun car for 22 &23rd? You, I and @K5Devil should meet up for dinner and gab.
Going to be in Kommiefornia next weekend.

WOW !!! Heard someone made partial fiberglass caps . But I've NEVER actually seen one ! And your Jimmy looks Nice .

oh lordy...

did this sell?

Im in Long Beach these days.
Nope, I still have it in the garage. I had some significant interest, but the shipping to locations east is just prohibitive. If you want to come by and take a look, I'm off work the next two weeks, it would be a good time. I'm thinking of putting it up on Ebay, but I hate to deal with all those questions.

Sorry to hear about the downgrade in living arrangements for you! LB isn't too bad, but it's nothing like HB!

I just posted this up on Ebay. If anyone is interested, $1200 for any ck5 member and it's yours.

How long is the tonneau cover part?
How does it attach?
How does the half cab attach?
Whats at the bottom/under the half cab? (Is it just open underneath?
