My, My, My. Aren't we the all mighty know it all. Let me ask oh, grand pobah, what is it about your point of view, your great knowledge, your great wisdom, and yes your great attitude , that makes you so much smarter than the rest of us , brainless fools.

I don't have to explain myself or my rig or my choice of build to anyone. I have wheeled with quite a few people from this web site and they know my rig performs.

Maybe next time I build up a truck I will not pay attention to all the other rigs I see, that I run with. I won't pay attention to the components they use and how they perform and how they last. That's right. That is great idea. I will find an old one ton, throe them thar axles under my truck , add 10 inches of big daddy lift and toss a body lift undr her and call it done. that should work. Even better I will tell those around me who have purchased these big expensive, more money than brains parts in their rigs how stupid they are. How much of a sucker they were to buy them.

No wait, I have one better. I will not pay attention to what the guys that copmete at a top level in EROC, or ARA rock crawling competions. Heck, those guys don't REALLY know what they are doin. They are just a bunch of suckers that have more brains than money. Hell I don't know why they would want to build them crazy trucks that will go up whatever it is they point it towards. Yup, that is a great idea.

Even better, once all that is done, I am goin to run my mouth to everyone that is listening and tell them how smart I am and how stupid they are. Sounds good to me.

what you need to figure out is that I dont say the facts for an ego boost. I am too old to care about egos.
they are simply the way I see them with no sugar coating.
if someone goes out of their way to call me a name, other then in jest, I may sharpen the next comment for them a bit.
if you wear your heart on a sleeve...

Well, your facts , your prices, they come out different than mine. My heart is not onmy sleeve. Like I said earlier, your comments come across as a bit jerky. Your opinion holds no water for me, as I do not know you or your abilities. You may be all knowing, and one hell of guy. The only thing I can go by is what I have read here at this forum. And in this as well as many other posts, you seem to have the same Know it all attitude. Now, that is just my opinion, so do with it what you will.

As far as the name calling, you seem to be the only one doin it, and not in the straight forword, non-sugar coated way that you claim. But with insinuation, and and slight of word (like slight of hand)

But I will stop, cause in this case it's best to keep your mouth shut and let everyone beleive you a fool, rather than open it and reveil all true.

a sucker for punishment by drawing me out to play off the topic.
the greater fool, as in the guy who gets stuck with goods that he will be unlikely to sell for more then he paid. the epitome of the 'greater fool theory' due in part for an unexplained belief that the parts are somehow better due to their previous owner having possesed them.

tell me of one thing that you can ever sell for more than you got it for ? with exception of ignoreant ppl . well in a way they are more valuable bcuz he beefed em up better than i ever couldve . i never hear from you that anyone ever does a good job on anything that ive ever read . all ya ever do is put down or tell them how it could be better . old ppl dont go out play either you too old for egos so your to old to play also .

M J How can you knock somebody for building there rig the way they want or feel comfortable with..I for one have added up the prices of going with a doubler and the price of a Klune-V and am probaly going to go with the Klune-V.. But that would be my choice and what I feel good about.. A lot of people gave me a bad time for Heculining the entire outside.. The cost of it was as much as a cheap paint job.. But I like it and don't really care what you are anybody else thinks.. My .02....Dan

I never knocked him for running a Klune or any part of his rig.
I merely corrected him in the cutting of a 203 to use a doubler and enquired as to what sent him towards the klune as the $$ part was the opposite for my application. I even stated that I believed it was the jeep based TC that was adding to the costs.
they pulled the price list down so I cant quote real numbers but it was ~$500 for an adapter for my tranny and ~$500 for an adapter for my transcase on top of the just under $2000 unit.
I dont recall your tranny preference but I would bet you are in a similar boat depending on which of your vehicles you are thinking of adding it to.
that is way beyond a doubler even after hunting down the elusive 465 version 203 for my application.
