After 4 years in RV storage I finally got them back home. During that time I lived in apartments and rental houses without garages so I didn't have anywhere to put them or work on them. That's not the case now.

I'll start with the rusted, wrecked yellow '77 and get all the parts off that I need to restore the green '76 that I've owned since 1980. The black '78 is in the best shape of all of them other than my '90.

Now I just hope no one complains and I get kicked off the street. No big deal if it does, I'll just put them in the driveway. It's nice to have them home. My neighbors are pretty cool about it and I think that it helped that I got the LMC truck covers on them the first day after I power washed all the moss off.

how many k5's does one guy need? :eek1:

Well, for starters, every guy needs at least one 69-72 Blazer. Then, you have to have a '73-75 model for the square nose full-convertible. Then, you have to have a '76-79 model so you can have a square-nose half-top convertible. Then you certainly need to own a 1980 Jimmy or k5 for the '80-unique grill-headlight arrangement. THEN, of course a guy needs to own an '81-88 k5/jimmy with the 4-headlight arrangement. And, of course....last,but not least....a guy has to own an 89-91 fuel-injected k5/jimmy with the super-pretty front-clip style.

So, at a minimum, every guy needs at LEAST (6) K5 Blazer/Jimmys:woot:

wait.....small block or big-block powered? :D

Good on ya for keeping them all those years

Well believe me, I didn't start out to have 4 Blazers at the same time. It just sort of happened. I'm glad I held on to them too. Chances are that all three of them would have ended up at the crusher. The '77 is going there anyway since it's completely rusted out top to bottom but I'll get all of the good parts off first.
