Finally build thread worthy material

Ouch hope the tooth rebuild goes well so you can finish the truck build :thumb:

Looks good though!!

teeth look fine, wallet took a beating. gonna wrap it up on weds hopefully, but now the budget build got even tighter.

In other notes, I think my rough country 4" leaf springs actually gave me like 6.5" of lift in the rear. I think thats why my yoke is so far out. Should I expect this to sag some? Or is the rough country quality control just not that great?

I really want to end up with a SYE, so I NEED to be able to use my driveshaft (that was just rebuilt) if possible for now. Even if I cant offroad it much right off the bat. I just dont have the funds to do a sye and new driveshaft with my new dental bill.

feel free to PM me the cheapest way to do a sye...

Too tired to do a full post, but with the help of 77_Jimmy, got-er-done!

Stock brake line bolts suck, axles are heavy, rough country 4" lift is actually like 7" of lift, and this would have been impossible without the awesome help I got.

Check it out....im stoked!

so, my list of things to get done next is coming. I marked my yoke, and I need to remove the rear driveshaft and see how much of the yoke is actually in there.

few more pics...

This was alot of work...and not much of it was fun :doah:

HUGE thanks to 77_Jimmy, it wasnt possible without him.

Now, to haul off all this junk to the scrap yard. (2) 10 bolts and a 14bff (with no hubs) - unless a local wants it for free (haul off)

I also have some other leftover stuff if you guys need anything...the shocks and tires were used for around 600 miles (shocks less)

You should throw the axles and parts up for pick up instead of scrap yard. At least someone could get use out of them instead of them being cut up. Not everybody needs big axles

I am open to that...but the 2 other local guys i talked to said it took months to sell their stock 10 bolts for $50. I need these out of the driveway.

If anyone wants them, and can come get them asap....just let me know.

Maybe try a thread in the for sale stuff section. Just put free on their, if nobody takes em,

well that all depends on the going rate of scrap steal...gotta pay the dental bills

Steel isnt worth jack normally, but guess u will get more than for givin em away. Just hate seeing parts scrapped, but its ur stuff, no need to listen to me. Last I checked steel was around $200 a ton, but i know the market dropped around here quite a bit so prolly less now. Id say you could maybe get $70ish if ur lucky...:dunno:

Awesome rig!! Respect to the Jeepers and little Suzukis and stuff, but full size just looks so much better! I also rock the 14b rear, rough country springs AND a damaged front tooth! Hahaha hope you have dental coverage! What are you putting under the front?

on the alignment rack @ my work, guys have broken their own noses and one knocked himself unconscience doing about the same thing. Better lesson: don't pull towards yourself, and if you have to, do it with a straight arm and just use your body weight to break the nut or bolt loose.
