Love the cover paint...even though I'm a New Yorker, not the city, just the state. Still a red-neck by heart though!!

You make me wish I took the time to make mine pretty!

thanks AJ, i appreciate it!
its gonna get 4.56 with 35 spline stubbys and fancy ujoints, warn prems, lockright, hydro assist and crossover, custom alcan springs all tricked out. and then the 40 inch boggers. :D

Cover is definitely awesome, and I'm not even from TX.
Proud people out here though....and I dig it

while we here i'd like to ask what lug bolts did you use? and did their heads fit in the indents in the rotor alright. there was a thread here while back that has me 2nd guessing using the stock ones and some people sayin the lugnut threads weren't fully engaged. i think i'm going to use dually lugbolts and if their head is to big,..i'm going to grind them down to fit, but do it slowly so i don't get them hot. just curious what you used, not sure if the guy was try'n to pimp his little kit or if there is any reason for concern...there were some people who said their lugnuts went on but not to the point they filled the lugnut is reason i'm considering dually studs. and where'd you get your lugnuts?

oh yea, love the diff covers paint!

Very nice.

One suggestion for you. You may want to paint the non braking part of your disc with high temp paint. Since the pads wont touch it it will rust up pretty fast. Judging by the look and work on the axle I think you might want it looking nice for a while longer.

Bitchen job on the diff cover.

thanks guys, those are oriellys single wheels studs. dont remember the name but they werent cheap. everything fit perfect im only using steel wheels and this give me like an inch of thread engagement. with aluminum conical seat i can see that being a problem.

thanks yall!! the 14 bolt and detroit is badass, i love em! the only problem im having is the rear tires lockup under hard braking and axle wrap. the rotors also seem to be really hot. kinda like theyre dragging??

anyways check it out guys.

What did you do for shock mounts?

BTW, even being an OKIE that diff cover is awesome!!

thanks man! and for the shocks i havent got there yet... gonna do some inboarding with some 12 inch travel shocks. probably my fronts.

Looks good. Did you take any of the bottom lip off the center section? You were smart to paint while it was out of the truck, i wish I would have done that.

nah i didnt shave it, coulda just didnt.

i posted up a long time ago about putting 12.50's on 6.5s and yeah i did it finally. i think dremu called me a pussy or something lol
its prettty cool but pretty squishy feeling.
not really digggin it, probably gotta get 16x10s for these tires.

Wuss.

Get some 8's. 10's are too wide unless you are planning on wider tires.

Puss.

lol, i had 10s on em before and it was Ok. 8s would squish the bead in more and look better and probably hold a bead better if i ever aired down or whatever.
