1/2 ton status
I finally finished after nearly 2 months of working on the blazer, with much help from Smokkey (Justin). There were a couple of issues, including only having one 7/16 fine thread banjo bolt on the D44 I swapped in. Took me an entire day to find a parts store that carried them.
Anyhow, as I got ready to take it for a ride around the block to check the brakes and steering, I noticed the tranny would shift into D (auto 700R4). I disconnected the rear driveshaft and the shift column finally moved, but didn't seem to be catching any of the gears. Could this be a linkage issue, or could it be related to the t-case/d-shaft. I wouldn't think that the d-shaft would be an issue and prevent the tranny from catching gears.
Any ideas??
