I must ask, did the dog need help getting up there? He looks a little overweight, I know my dog is overweight and she can't climb for crap.

Yes he did need a boost. He used to be able to jump into the bed of my friend's stock Frd Ranger (no name connection) with the tailgate closed. I tried taking him for a ride in my brother's Toyota and I had to boost him in with the bed down. Yes, he is getting old and fat. Still a good dog though. my dogs about 11 now and overweight. Shes slowed down and can't jump much but shes still a good dog. I can't take her for rides in the back of trucks, I'm 100% she'd jump out.
