Ok, guys. Here it is. Been on the forum ever since I picked this guy up last March. Finally got the trans rebuilt and finished up school. Kind of upset that I wasted my time rebuilding this 3 speed now that I may have located a full sm465 and np205 setup. Anyway, it does work, so I'm very happy.

looks good! as far as buiding the 3 speed, it's all experience so you can sell it when you want to throw thw 4 speed in!

Good work! It looks like you at least got the Muncie 3 speed, I'm stuck with the Saginaw in my 70.

Nope, still the saginaw 3 speed junk. And, although its rebuilt, my linkage is really crappy. I've tried just about every adjustment, but its very hard to get it into 3rd gear without a little grinding. Then again, once I get it into 3rd, it also likes to pop out. Not a big fan of this whole setup, especially because I pressed on a whole new 3rd gear and i feel like I am going to destroy it again. Haha.
