Finally some S-TON progress

on second though, looking at yours, what is your bottom of frame height and your top of cab height with it at ride height like that. I am worried about this one being too tall, but it looks like yours is taller yet.

the one I am on is 84" at top and 34" under frame. Flat belly. I wanted as low of a cog as possible.

Mine is 30" at the lowest point on the frame and 90" on the top. I will lower it quite a bit more so I will take new dimensions. See, my factory GM Frame has a dip in it you can see it from the pics.

Wow Neil, that is quite the project! Looking good. You shouldn't have as much trouble with the body on this one, eh? :D

Looking great Neil! What did you have to do with the rear springs?

I took 56" springs with 6" lift and installed them backwards to move the center pin back 4". Now I need to remove about 3 leaves from them and add an anti-wrap bar to keep the spring in control. I also added an ORD 2.5" flip bracket and plan to weld it to the frame. It was welded to my friend Layne's K5 frame so when we hacked it off, it is pretty rough looking so welding it on is the only option at this ponit.

Now the truck is ready to go to the shop for cage, rear tubing work and front tube work. Need to build the crossmember and shock mounts too.
