After a long wait, my son and I finally got our D60/14B installed this weekend. Thanks to a couple of local friends, and some good advice from Stephen Watson, everything went pretty smooth. We installed a 6" BDS lift(we can now go deeper in the bush with our BDS lift) greasable everything, swaybar disconnects and hd shackles. This afternoon we towed the Jimmy down to the driveline shop for a rebuild of the front drive line and a new rear drive shaft w/ CV joint. Hopefully someday, 4WPW will find my wheels and it will be almost totally finished. We took a lot of pics and yes Rene, we decided on the 4.5555555555 gears.

Cool.
I just finished my swap about an hr ago.
But it is just the 14FF and a D44 8 lug.
But all in all I am pleased with the outcome.

Well decided on 37" SSR's on 16x10 black rock crawlers. I know I will be bad mouthed by half the board choosing SSR's and the other half for using 4WPW. But after talking to the guys at 4WPW and a couple of other places and finding out that there have not been any problems with the 10 ply 37" SSR we decided those were the tires we wanted.

I don't know if this is fact or not, but the guy at 4WPW told us that the new Swampers are no longer manufactured by InterCo., they are now made in Mexico and they are having problems with them.

Good choice. I've got the SSR's - 35" 10 ply's and so far so good. Seem to be a strong tire, and are great on the street.

And my local 4WPW is the place to go - match any prices and I get a local club 10% discount to boot.
