I got a build thread going on in the Burb forum also...
http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=279530

Over the years I have done several body projects with my dad. Most of the time doing alot of the sanding and body work and he ends painting. He has always been old school and only used single stages. So when it came time to repaint my suburban, I told him I'm doing it base/clear. Just got it finished up this weekend, merry christmas to me! :woot::woot::woot:

Here is a before...

the burb bug is hovering. I am no where near done on my k5, but already wish I had a burb parked next to it! good job. i know how much work that is.

cant wait to get it out from underneath the shop lights and see how it looks in the sun. my wife only noticed a purple tint on my cell phone pics.

as for rally. dont know what wheels im running

Im kinda digging the alloys in your first pic there. Oh if your looking for something to freshen u the trim there is a product called plastidip ive seen people use it with good results. and it you dont like it it peels right off. could either give it the flat black or cover it with the same clear they make for a gloss look.
