Can't get it to run right, handheld won't conect with Ecu, it will start and run when you put it in gear it pops and snaps out the Exhaust running very poorly.
About had it with the trouble with an aftermarket efi system.
Been suggested the Ecu is fried why it won't connect with hand held. Hand held powers up just no communication with the Ecu.

Could be a coil and I will switch it tomorrow morning already put ignition module in distributor

While that happens with OEM efi as well you know there's a handful of things that could go wrong.
With aftermarket all the fancy stuff that is not essential to running will fail and keep you stranded.
Stock it is for me, it's working.

I'm close to buying a Holley 650 do on it send this in for repair and sell the darn thing

While haven't used one, if I'm not mistaken the fitech and sniper setups are not that much different than the oem TBI setup. Other than the 4bbl throttle body and 4 injectors vs 2 on a stock setup. They both use similar sensors to make it run, but rather than needing an oem type scan tool to monitor data they use a held device. One other difference is if you get a setup that does not control timing it's actually less complex than the oem setup.

Either way you slice it, both setups can fail. It comes down to what you want to put up with.

I liked it when it worked well, now I'm spending more time messing with it and less time driving

Just. Need to find a Holley I can afford next month
you sure you want a holley product after my problems ? ? ?

i feel your pain brother and then some . . . less than 500 miles and i am in holley hell :angry1: carb or not i will never buy another holley product if i can help it again ever after this mess . :poo:

And I have been watching yours and other problems with. All efi units weather it is Holley Fitech or edelbrock and they all have issues

Sad part is Holley .Bought out most other brands of. Carbs besides edelbrock and pro.form. and perform sucks badly

Is this on the truck ya just changed headers on?

Yep, washed it and was on the loop heading home and turned on the heat and the injection shut off. Changed ignition module before it would start. That's why I think coil. But coil won't make the handheld not connect with the Ecu.

Checked all my grounds with a meter after. Getting it running and tried to drive it and it would not move on its own power.

Problem started after you washed it?

Yes after It shut off I changed module to get it to start, hope it's a coil causing problems cause it's out of warranty and cost 220 for Ecu

i have seen way less problems with edelbrock in my searching .......:dunno:
Mine too but you get what you pay for
Edelbrock also has Wi-Fi connect to where the tech can get on your system trough the. Connection and see what's the problem. But only on the multi port system pro Flo 4 I think but don't know slot about need to research mire
