Fixing my K5 impulse buy

I want to keep the drivetrain stock, the EFI and wiring defiantly needs some help.

This is the 84 K5 I bought last fall, the plan is to keep it close to stock as possible. Bought it as is.

There's a whole bunch of good rebuild kits for them. Also good tuner chips for them as well

It came with extra parts like headlight trim, door seals (probably for the gate) and miscellaneous stuff I haven't looked at yet. I'm going to do research on stuff that I never cared about before like O2 sensors, EFI stuff, spark plugs and fixing window in a gate.

I never drove it before I bought it, lot of strange things going on. Brake fluid reservoir and power steering is full to the brim, transfer case is about falling off, there's a toggle switch that needs to be flipped before it starts. I'm sure I'll find other little mysteries.

The rotten 88 suburban I picked up couple months before I bought the K5 might be worth more to me than I thought.

Yes, I took the transmission and transfer case out and rolled it in the woods. It should be a big help figuring out wires on the FI and miscellaneous details on the 84.
