ok i am painting my blazer within the next month and i would like some opinions/pictures of blazers painted flat or gloss black. i was thinking flat because i am going to have to do quite a bit of body work and people have told me that flat masks some minor imperfections but who has had some expericence with this? how has it come out? it is going to be my DD if that makes any difference in your opinions. thanks

Gloss black will show EVERY pin dent and ripple in the body unless you don't really care to much about that or you get the body perfectly smooth.

Gloss definitely has its problems but I think flat black vehicles look like ass.

A well done semi looks good, but difficult to get just "right".....

very true. i did my truck semi and its very easy to get glossier spots. its hard to get a uniform covering. although i was using spray cans. a gun woulda been alot easier.

use some kind of bed liner on the whole outside, covers up rust, same molding and badge holes and you can get it in many colors now with uv protectant in it so it will not fade.

Dude save up 350 bucks and the MF maccoed/earl shibed white or some other light color that hides less than perfect bodywork
