flat black vs. semi gloss

ok so we started primering and got almost 1/2 done. going to finish the body work after we put a coat of primer.. im going to buy the paint in about a week if i can finish everything by then.. thanks for all the responses.. keep them coming... i havent bought the paint yetttt.....

My hood scoop is ultra flat black... at least that's what it said on the can...

Heres my glossy blazer, although my vote was for flat. That green and black semi gloss looks way badass. I have been thinking about a semi military green color for my crew cab.

My observations; flat black is a PITA to clean. Also, flat retains moisture, and turns chalky over time. I would go with OD mil spec paint to hide the blemishes.

I have seen good luck with Black Satin from rustoleum. It seems to have a little shine, but hides imperfections.
