This maybe a no brainer question that has been answered but I really cant search for it right now. Will Dana 44 flat top knuckles fit a 10 bolt front end. I seem to recall they should but just want to make sure. I may have come across a good deal on some but want to be sure.

When they say machine work is necessary, what machine work do they mean? Just drilling and tapping the bolt holes? Or do you have to actually mill it so it is perfectly flat?

The knuckle does need to be machined perfectly flat. The friction between the knuckle and the steering arm are what takes all of the force, it's when they get loose and the studs are actually in shear that they break.

lol!

maybe the flat top swap needs it's own sticky!
