Need some help. my wifes jeep is on jack stands atm from rotating the tires, and my floor jack just stopped working

It rises just fine to the axles.. but when you put pressure on it it wont lift the vehicle.

no flood leaking and i added some just to make sure it was full
any idea? blew a seal out somewhere or something ?
anyway i can rig the jack to just to get the damn jeep off the stands ?

just started working on the jack and looks like blew a seal out inside so no pressure... damn craftsman prof my azz.

time to buy a better one
suggestions ?

Beings it is a jeep just leave it where it is. Mabe you can plant some flowers in it or something.

how high are the wheels off the ground? if its only a inch or so and the stands on the axles just push that thing over. i do it all the time on my blazer when i jack the front up. i just put it in drive and drive it off, or hook another vehical to it

Should he push it onto the drivers side or passengers side? :haha:

If you have as many ramps as wheels up in the air, you could try to jam the ramps under the wheels and drive up them off the jackstands.

Better get a some sort of jack in that thing in case you lose a tire in the middle of nowhere (or aren't patient enough to wait over an hour for the road-side assistance guy to come meandering over to help you put the spare on).
