i have a 73 blazer w/ manual tranny, my flywheel theeth r chped and i know i have 2 drop the tranny. i did it once on a 89 k5 with 700r but is there much of a difference? and should i replace the clucth while im at it? if so should i buy a complete heavy duty kit or just the disk? thanjs in advance i appriciate any opinions.

On a flywheel you can replace just the ring gear. I would buy a clutch kit with everything and change it all, too much work to have to pull it out if something isn't right between old and new parts.
