Ford 205 tcase?

Been trying to do some searching on this; I've found a ford np205 that I can get real cheap and was wanting to know what's different from a chevy 205 (and some info about swapping the 208 for the 205)

for starters it has the front driveline drop on the wrong side...

That you'd need a Furd front axle to hook up to it because the drop is on the wrong side.

Buy it!..... 'specially if you can get a good deal.

The Ford 205 IS a driver's side drop, but it has it's qualities..

1) 32 spline outputs
2) The 31 spline input shaft can be used to make a "low $$" doubler
3) You may later find a driver's side drop D60 front that you wanna use in conjunction w/ a doubler.

Elaborate please (as someone sitting on a Ford 205 and a couple 203s)
