I can't stand anything GM makes these days. The only redeeming part of GM is the use of the Allison auto, but I'm a manual auto guy, so no good.
Ford scored a huge hit with it's SuperDuty 4x4's. If I could afford it, I'd buy one.
Anyone seen the buildup of the f-550 that Four WHeeler did? It had a Dana60 front, Dana135 rear, 40" tires, and the Powerstroke Diesel. All from the factory except for the new springs and the tires!
I even whent to the local dealership - they had a f550 manual 4x4 in stock. It was about 65K.
People buy our year trucks/blazers because they are strong and available. In 20 years, these Superduty's are going to be the preferred older vehicle to wheel because of brute strength and availablilty. Just imagine when all the people who buy trucks just because they are new start selling them - abundant availablitly.

That is an awesome rig. Don't feel you have to apologize. I have always been a die-hard Chevy fan but have learned that we all do ourselves a huge disservice when we refuse to accept any other brands (and that definitely includes Jeeps and Fords). I've seen alot of negativity by some guys on this site putting down other brands. All I say is, "To each his/her own". Fact is, there are some awesome rigs out there that are not Chevrolets and there are also some crappy Chevrolets out there. I still love my K5.

I will have to assume that it is an IFS rig (although SD have solid axle) with no removable roof, so basically it is nothing more than Ford's version of a 2-door Tahoe.

If you like that, just buy a black 92-99 Tahoe 2-door, swap in a Dana 60 and put accesories on it.

That looks like an Explorer sport(2dr) with an Excursion front clip. Do you really think ford would put triple ranchos up front from the factory? Plus where are the tire tracks? Either this is some "body" mans wild creation, or someone is really good with photoshop. I looked it over real good with PS, but I'm a programmer not a graphics artist.

That is as ugly as any other FORD. If your removed that Mad Max style grille guard to access the engine, you would then realize you were looking at the most Butt Ugly front end Ford has ever dreamed up. So, go ahead Corey, Buy that piece of $#!% and it will free up another space on the Bandwidth issue here. GM Has never dropped the Ball. All their trucks and Cars are very tasteful. I cant wait to see you in your Bronco and then after that, trade it in on a Tarus - another engineering marvel of FORD.

I think that most people here do agree that GM did indeed drop the ball when they went to IFS. There is a reason why Ford Trucks have been the best selling vehicle on the planet for so long. I love my K-5 but if I were buying new, it'd be a Ford, maybe Dodge.

Just so you know, Toyota sells the most trucks in the world. Ford has it here in the US. Toyota sells trucks <font color=red>EVERYWHERE</font color=red>. Try finding a Chevy, GMC, Ford, or Dodge dealership in Zimbabwe. You won't.

Ford has outsold chevy but there's a reason people havn't bought as many new chevys--It's because chevys last longer. It's been documented since 1981 that the chevy trucks are on the road longer. GM overbuilt the chevys to last longer and they do. The main reason I love chevy is because of their designs. Working on a GM is cheaper and easier than other lines of cars and trucks. The ball joints I replaced on a mopar screwed into the upper a-arm and you needed a special socket to get them out and the bottom one just pressed in. On the Pontiac i did the ball joints on, they were riveted in. Just drill out the rivets and bolt in the new ones. I love GM.
