Ford started using low pinion closed knuckle drum brake kingpin 60s in 1973.5.

IH and Dodge used closed knuckle kingpin 60s starting as soon as they came into being... like 68 or 69 or something.

Dodge & IH didn't have a D60 front before '75... it was a D70. :crazy:

I thought it was a Dana 70 in those years only if it was 10 lug? I've seen an IH box truck of the 71-72 vintage with an 8 lug D60 (didn't have the second rib of a D70).
 
Every D70 I've seen has a "second rib" that goes over the top of the differential case next to the cover mating surface. It looks like a second cover mating surface.

Apparently I know even less about IH and Dodge than I thought I did so I'll shut up now. haha.
