What is the difference in a truck fuel injection vs. that on a boat?

If the truck setup will work what all do I need to get? (95 Ford F350)

On a carbed setup the carb dosen't vent the bowls to the engine bay and the fuel pump is dual diaphram so it wont leak if there's a breakage. And there's the goofy suppresser thing on top of the carb.

are you looking to run truck injection in a boat?

although i've done repowers and maintenence, i haven't had much in way of diagnostics on marine fuelies. obviously it would need to run a corresponding electrical/ignition system, Merc, MarinePower, etc... flame arrestor (and yeah, TBI's and TPI's run em)... fuel pump..

not really sure if its doable and SAFE... safe being the key word when it comes to boating...

I know ford fuel injection inside and out , but I know nothing about boat stuff, sorry no help here /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I was bidding on ebay for a Holley Pro-Jection marine version. I called Holley and they said there were only two differences: flame arrestor as already discussed and the ECU is potted.

Oh yeah, the harness is longer.
